New Telkom uncapped ADSL prices

 ·6 Aug 2012

Telkom has unveiled its new Do Uncapped accounts in anticipation of its ADSL speed upgrades which will start later this month.

Telkom recently said that will the company start upgrading its “Up to 1024kbps” to “Up 2048kbps” from 24 August 2012, and will start upgrading its 384kbps ADSL users to 1Mbps from 1 October 2012.

These new speeds does not have an impact on the price which ADSL users with capped ADSL accounts will pay, but uncapped users will have to plan for higher prices if they want to gain the benefits of the higher ADSL line speeds with uncapped data.

Telkom’s Do Uncapped product range offers subscribers bundled and ‘account-only’ uncapped options, and Telkom has now added a 2Mbps option in preparation for its 1Mbps to 2Mbps ADSL speed upgrades.

The following table provides an overview of Telkom’s new Do Uncapped prices for both account-only and bundled products.
