Watch: Zuma finds Parliament very funny, again
President Jacob Zuma was again criticized in Parliament on Thursday, for breaking out in fits of laughter during a questions and answers session.
“My Laughing is not hurtful, it’s healthy,” Zuma said, as he continued to laugh in the National Assembly, during his last oral questioning session for the year.
It is not the first time president Zuma has angered members of Parliament with his laughter, while discussing serious matters in the house.
“Today president Zuma laughed, while millions of South Africans suffer,” the Democratic Alliance Said.
The Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, was incensed by president Zuma. “Speaker, we must be taken seriously. The president answers a question, says absolutely nothing, and then he laughs. It means our questions are jokes here. I’ve been telling him, this is not Trevor Noah’s show.”
