The new E-Class introduces a new era of intuitive driving
The new E-Class is one of the most advanced series production vehicles Mercedes-Benz has built, able to drive semi-autonomously and brake automatically when it senses pending collisions.
Mercedes-Benz’s new assistance and safety systems take safety, comfort and driver assistance to a new level.
Its Pilot and Assist systems noticeably relieve the driver and help to prevent hazardous situations by maintaining the distance from the vehicle ahead and can automatically transfer speed limits to the speed control system.
Active Brake Assist augments inadequate brake pressure by the driver, or even brakes autonomously if the driver fails to react.
In this way the new E-Class is a major step on the way to autonomous, accident-free driving.
