Change in directorate at Vodacom’s BEE scheme
Tlhabeli Ralebitso, a non-executive member of the board of Yeboyethu, has tendered his resignation as a director of the company with effect from 5 May 2017.
YeboYethu, Vodacom’s BEE scheme, said that Matimba Mbungela has been appointed as a director of the company and a member of the Social and Ethics committee.
Matimba is currently the chief human resources officer at Vodacom Group, and is a member of the Vodacom Group executive committee. Prior to this, he was the managing executive: human resources for Vodacom South Africa until April 2014.
Matimba has worked within the Vodacom and Vodafone Group since 2003 in various roles within human resources. His previous experience includes key human resources roles in blue chip companies such as BMW South Africa and Unilever.
