South African suburbs where the most houses are sold
·16 Feb 2018
Research group Lightstone has provided the top 10 suburbs in South Africa which saw the most property sales in 2017.
While high-price areas like much of Cape Town’s Atlantic seaboard usually draw the most attention for their high value homes, due to the limited number of properties up for sale – and even fewer high-net worth individuals around to buy them – they do not see too many sales in any given year.
It’s unsurprising then that some of the hottest property markets in the country are actually found in low-income areas.
