Telkom looking for new Telkom Mobile head?
MyBroadband BusinessTech has been informed that Telkom Mobile (which includes 8ta) will get a new management structure.
A well placed source has told MyBroadband that Telkom’s CFO Jacques Schindehütte will act as Telkom Mobile Managing Director until a permanent leader is found.
The Telkom Mobile MD would report to group CEO Pinky Moholi, and oversee areas including finance (CFO), sales and customer experience, the source said.
Amith Maharaj, who headed up 8ta, will become senior managing executive for Telkom Mobile Operations. Maharaj will be in charge of Telkom Mobile marketing, IT and networks.
Telkom was asked to comment on the new Telkom Mobile management structure, but could not confirm or deny this information by the time of publication.
