Top banking brands in South Africa
The 2012 Sunday Times Top Brands survey results were released recently, revealing that Absa is the top retail banking brand in South Africa.
The Sunday Times Top Brands survey, conducted by TNS Research Surveys, assessed the strength of brands in South Africa using various criteria, including familiarity, brand rating and experience, and public perception.
According to the survey, Absa is South Africa’s top retail banking brand, followed by FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Capitec, Postbank and AfricaBank.
When it came to business banks Investec was the top brand, followed by FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank and Absa.
The survey revealed that Koo was the top overall brand in the country, followed by Coca Cola, Rama, KFC and Nokia.
