Discovery Vitality rates and changes for 2018
The Vitality health programme, by Discovery, encourages and rewards customers for living well. The group has updated its rates for 2018, as well as additional ways to earn points next year.
From early next year, members will be able to choose between Bike Booster, Device Booster and Shoe Booster to get the latest equipment for cash back. Bike Booster and Device Booster have been added for the first time in 2018 and will be able to get cash back on a new road or mountain bike.
If you buy a new road or mountain bike at Cycle Lab, you will be able to get up to 25% cash back on the first R20,000 of the retail price of the bike over 36 months.
Cash back depends on the number of goals met in the previous month and will start accumulating in the calendar month after the purchase of the qualifying item.
Surprise rewards
“We have introduced incredible new rewards at every level, ranging from a coffee or a smoothie, to shopping rewards and dream holidays. Team rewards will be replaced with goal streaks and surprise rewards so you can earn bigger and better rewards,” Discovery said.
Reward partners include Kauai, Mugg & Bean, Ster-Kinekor and Vida e caffè.
New features allow you to track your performance including current goal progress, consecutive goals, fitness days over the month and fitness points earned that month.
“Soon, you’ll be able to add an unlimited number of Vitality friends to compete against, challenge and track against your own weekly progress, and win more prizes with leaderboards,” the group said.
