Business Talk – Sean Sanders and Louisa Klouda discuss ALFI – The world’s first legal finance security token
In this Business Talk interview with Michael Avery, Sean Sanders and Louisa Klouda discuss the launch of ALFI – the world’s first legal finance security token.
Sanders is the founder and CEO of alternative investment platform Altify, and has over a decade of industry experience.
This includes serving as a Portfolio Manager for Sabvest, a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for Draper Grain Investments, and an Investment Manager for Knife Capital.
Sanders was also the founder and CEO of cryptocurrency platform Revix which, through a merger with BitFund and Coinpanion, became Altify in 2023.
Klouda is the cofounder and CEO of Fenchurch Legal, a specialist litigation funder providing capital support to small and medium-sized UK law firms.
Klouda founded Fenchurch Legal after she discovered a lack of support for smaller legal claims in an industry dominated by funding for high-value, complex cases.
Fenchurch Legal began filling this gap in 2020 and has since successfully managed to lend over £35 million to UK law firms that take on smaller claims.
The interview
In this Business Talk interview, Klouda outlines why she started Fenchurch Legal and the key milestones the company has reached.
She explains how their loan process works and reveals the long-term goals of the organisation.
Sanders then unpacks how the Altify platform works, and explains why they chose to launch the ALFI token in partnership with Fenchurch Legal.
He outlines how Altify will prioritise the benefits provided by the partnership, and how this will influence Altify’s future strategies.
Sanders and Klouda conclude the interview by explaining how they see the finance industry evolving in the years ahead.
