Load shedding relaxed to stage 1 until the evening
Power utility Eskom says that stage 1 load shedding will be implemented until later this afternoon, before the return of stage 2.
“Due to low electricity demand and the expected return to service of two units earlier than planned, Stage 1 load shedding will be implemented from 11:00 today until 16:00.
“Thereafter, Stage 2 load shedding will resume from 16:00 until further notice,” Eskom said.
The power utility added that it would continue monitoring the system and would communicate should any significant changes occur.
