A new Youtube clip entitled: Zuma in the eyes of a child, asks two South African kids of their opinion of Jacob Zuma as the current president, and his Nkandla homestead.

In the video, one of the kids says that Zuma used tax money to build a R246 million mansion called Nkandla, adding later in the clip that it isn’t even that impressive.

“I expected it to be a double story, but when I look at it, its just a rondavel.”

“Inside this house you have a gold toilet,” one child says. “A golden toilet, and he buys it with our tax money,” says the other child.

A survey published late last year showed that president Zuma’s approval rating has dropped by as much as 28% – from 64% in 2011 to 36% in 2015.

The president’s approval rating is at its lowest level since 2000, according to the survey, published by research firm Afrobarometer.
