Absa clients were left frustrated on Thursday morning, with the group’s banking systems down, leaving them unable to access their online and mobile banking profiles.
Absa said that it is currently experiencing technical issues, and that its online and app banking services were affected.
“Our team is working on a fix and your patience is appreciated. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause,” the group said.
Services have been impacted since 08h30, and Absa did not provide a timeline for when services would be back up.
However, it noted that its ATMs were still up and operational.
