Game’s one-day sale will equip you for summer
Game is launching a new one-day sale this month – giving 17% off some of its core categories on 17 October, both in-store and online.
The retailer experienced the success of the one-day sale earlier this year through its Halfway Day promotion, and plans to offer this discount on some must-have, bestselling items.
Categories on sale include essentials, lifestyle, multimedia, and home electronics.
Shoppers can expect 17% off of items like selected toys, baby goods, liquor, clothing, luggage, headphones, power banks, kettles, and several types of fans.
“Our shoppers have been flooding into our Gauteng stores to stock up on aircons and fans this past week – and this promotion will include desk, ceiling, floor, wall and pedestal fans, ensuring our shoppers are equipped for the heatwave and the upcoming summer,” explains Katherine Madley, Vice President of Marketing, Game.
Madley notes that discounts and bargain hunting continue to be top of mind for the Game customer, and the retailer plans to continue to deliver on this need.
“As a responsible retailer, we continue to carry out consumer research and ensure we are in line with current trends. Our shoppers are on the lookout for bargains, especially on essential items like personal care, homeware, and baby.”

The 17% discount will be available in store during normal trading hours and between 07:00 and 00:00 online, on Monday, 17 October.
