“House of the Dragon is gorgeous, opulent television, cinematic and big, pushing at the edges of what TV can do.”

Kaiya Shunyata of RogerEbert.com added that House of the Dragon “breathes new life into the world of Westeros.”

“This new look into the world that George R.R. Martin created is an example of what an adaption should be,” said Shunyata.
