Entelect crowned Employer of Choice at 2024 SAGEA Awards

 ·15 Jul 2024

Entelect is excited to announce that it has won the Graduate Employer of Choice in the IT Hardware and Software category at the 2024 South African Graduate Employers Association (SAGEA) Awards.

SAGEA is a not-for-profit professional association committed to elevating the field of graduate employment in South Africa, and runs the Employer Awards in partnership with graduate research company High Fliers Research.

Over 2,700 graduates across all industries were surveyed and awards were given to the companies that make the most effort to help graduates find employment in their sector.

To determine this, each candidate named two organisations they felt offered the best graduate programmes in their industry.

Candidates were not given a drop-down box or a pre-populated list, meaning their nominations were due exclusively to the memorable and positive impression a company left on them.

Entelect is proud to win this prestigious award, which recognises and acknowledges its efforts to offer an exceptional graduate employment experience in the IT sector.

“It is an incredible honour to see our efforts recognised, and to be celebrated among the top employers in the industry,” said Ahmad Mahomed, Entelect’s Learning and Development manager.

Why the SAGEA Employer Awards matter

The SAGEA Employer Awards are designed to help SAGEA members gauge the success of their graduate programmes and plan their future recruitment campaigns accordingly.

Being a winner proves that a company’s graduate programme is performing exceptionally and that the graduates benefit significantly by participating.

It is also proof that a company has a strong talent development culture – something that Entelect has always prided itself on.

Entelect Graduate Programme

Entelect’s commitment to growing and developing young talent is reflected in its comprehensive graduate programme, Boot Camp.
