Takealot pre-orders now open for new Samsung Galaxy foldable smartphones and smartwatches
Pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 smartphones are now open on Takealot.
These powerful smartphones were recently unveiled at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, along with several other exciting new Samsung devices – including the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Buds3 range.

Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6
The biggest reveal at Galaxy Unpacked was Samsung’s new Galaxy Z smartphones and the fact they are running the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
This allows the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 to access the same Galaxy AI features that made the S24 the most ground-breaking smartphone on the market.
Among the most popular AI-powered features are live translations, Chat Assist, Transcribe Assist, Note Assist, and Circle to Search.
For smartphone photography fans, Galaxy AI also ensures that better photos are taken and extensive new editing capabilities are now available.
The design highlight of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 is then Samsung’s renowned Flex Hinge technology, which allows the smartphones to fold in half.
Additional features include up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and 5G network support.
Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7
Samsung has also launched two new Galaxy smartwatches – the Watch Ultra and the Watch7.
Both smartwatches are expected to be hugely popular in the local market, thanks to their ability to work seamlessly with the new Galaxy Z foldable smartphones and maximise Galaxy AI insights and analysis.
This includes features like Energy Score, which checks your sleep, heart rate, and daily activities to help you plan your routines and achieve maximum health efficiency.
The Watch7 stands out courtesy of its floating design and will never be short of power thanks to its 3nm processor that uses less battery while increasing the fluidity of scrolling between apps.
10 ATM water pressure resistance, 55-degrees Celcius heat tolerance, and the ability to function at altitudes of up to 9,000m then make the Watch Ultra perfect for long, challenging adventures.
Galaxy Buds3
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds3 Pro and Buds3 are the ultimate audio companions for your Galaxy Z Flip6 or Fold6.
Both have been engineered with an angled stem design that brings your favourite songs closer to your ears, and boast active noise cancellation.
The Buds3 Pro also feature adaptive noise control, enhanced 2-way speaker noise control, and an ambient sound feature.
