Having access to Discovery Insure car insurance in the Discovery Bank app makes it easier to get the right cover and get rewarded for managing your money well.

From quote to cover all in one app
Getting an insurance quote to secure cover for your car doesn’t have to be a drawn-out process. Instead of switching between email, a website and completing paperwork, you can move from quote to cover in the same app you use to manage your day-to-day banking.
And because your details are pre-populated wherever possible, there’s much less admin.
Simply open your Discovery Bank app, tap the new product menu at the top of the Home screen, select Insure and follow the steps for a personalised car insurance quote and to activate your cover.

Rewards when you join Discovery Insure in the Discovery Bank app
If you’re not a Discovery Insure client yet, you can earn 1,500 Ðiscovery Miles by simply requesting a car insurance quote in the Discovery Bank app by 28 February 2026.
If you have a Discovery Bank Credit Card Account or Suite, you qualify for 25% off your monthly Discovery Insure premium.
Added to that, when you join Discovery Insure, your safe driving behaviour earns rewards. The safer you drive, the more Vitality Drive points you earn, improving your status and unlocking rewards.
These rewards include fuel savings of up to R1,500 a month at bp, or Shell and saving when you use the Gautrain. If you’re a Discovery Bank client, those fuel rewards can be paid in Ðiscovery Miles.
You can earn up to Ð15,000 in fuel rewards with Discovery Insure, on top of up to Ð2,000 back with Discovery Bank.
Plus, you can save up to 50% on your Uber rides between 18:00 and 06:00, and when you add Discovery Insure building and contents cover for your home, you can pay less on your interest rate with a Discovery Bank Home Loan.
