Cape Town based Knife Capital joins Candy Crush creators in backing Swedish startup

Cape Town and London based equity investment firm, Knife Capital, participated in its maiden European investment by way of a R22 million funding round for Swedish startup, Mobile and Sensory Technology (MOST).

Knife Capital joins King Digital Entertainment, creator of global sensation Candy Crush, and early investor in MOST, which develops environmental monitoring solutions for the transport and shipping industry.

The investment was facilitated by former Springbok rugby captain and Knife director, Bob Skinstad, who will join MOST’s board.

MOST will invest the fresh capital into further global expansion, including the South African market.
