The best e-commerce site in South Africa

Yuppiechef.com has once again been named the best e-commerce site in South Africa, winning the title at 2014 uAfrica eCommerce Conference held in Midrand on Thursday (4 September).
Runners up were Zando and Takealot.com.
The eCommerce Awards acknowledge SME’s that have been successful in the online retail space as voted by uAfrica.com’s some 116,000 survey respondents.
The short-list was then investigated in a “mystery shopper” format to determine the winners.
Out of the survey, Kalahari.com was voted as respondents’ favourite website – with Takealot.com and Groupon voted second and third amongst South Africans.
