Ellies expected to narrow losses
Ellies, a listed manufacturer and distributor of electronic products related to television reception, says it expects to record a loss of between 38 cents and 47 cents per share for the year ended April 2017.
This, it said, is between 46.45% and 56.71% lower than a prior loss of 87.78 cents per share for the year ended April 2016.
Ellies said it expects to record a headline loss of between 5 cents per share and 11 cents per share, being between 80.82% and 91.28% lower than 57.35 cents reported in 2016.
It said its losses come from its infrastructure segment (5 – 10 cents per share), a loss in the consumer segment of between 6 and 11 cents per share and a loss in the group segment of between 25 and 30 cents per share.
Ellies said it expects to publish its results on 28 July 2017.
