Jonas Bogoshi, the former CEO at JSE-listed IT company Gijima, has joined T-Systems in the role of vice president of sales.
Bogoshi left his position at the struggling IT company at the end of 2012, following a five year spell as CEO.
He explained at the time that he had always intended to stay for a five year period, with his contract set for that time frame.
At the time of his leaving, Gijima reported a decline in revenue for the 12 months ended June 2012, to R2.53 billion, from R2.56 billion in 2011; but the group reduced its operating loss to R49.1 million, from R258.2 million before.
T-Systems sent out a newsletter late last year to announce Bogoshi’s appointment.
“At the beginning of November the T-Systems team was joined by Mr Jonas Bogoshi, who took up the position of vice president of sales for T-Systems South Africa.
