The most expensive cars you can buy in South Africa

 ·20 Dec 2015

Bugatti recently confirmed that its new supercar, the 2017 Bugatti Chiron, will replace the recently-retired Veyron.

Two things stand out about the new 2017 Bugatti Chiron: the projected top speed of around 463km/h, and its price tag of $2.5-million (around R36 million).

At such a high price you may think that it’s a hard sell, but you would be mistaken. 100 orders for the car have already been placed.

While it is not clear if there are any South Africans in line for a Chiron, there are many other vehicles which may satisfy the taste of local millionaires.

Here are some of the most expensive production cars available in South Africa.
