Australian Ribs & Burgers chain coming to South Africa

Australian casual dining chain, Ribs & Burgers will be opening up its first restaurant in South Africa – hitting Pretoria’s Menlyn Maine district in September 2016.

The Menlyn branch will be the 20th store in the group, which has branched off from its roots in Australia in 2011, to countries such as the USA, Dubai and the UK.

The brand was started down under by South African expat Bradley Michael – while local branch will be managed by Savva and Natasha Sideris – founders and manager of the local Tasha’s brand.

According to Sideris, with South Africans now looking at the ingredients and contents of the meals they eat, the market has been left open for the Ribs & Burgers restaurants to cater to consumers who are looking for the “whole experience” in dining.

The brand focuses on the use of fresh ingredients, locally-sourced meats, and has a healthy slant to it as well.
