Makhabane is passionate about expanding access to high-quality healthcare to previously uninsured South Africans, using innovative and affordable solutions to achieve this.
Before her current role, Makhabane held several notable positions at Discovery – including Head of Marketing for Discovery Health and Chief of Staff.
She has also worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, VP at African Leadership Group, and Business Development Manager at SABMiller.
Makhabane holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town.
