Watch: Joburg house robbery in under 5 minutes
A new video has emerged showing criminals making light work of the security measures in place at a suburban residence in Johannesburg.
The footage shows a red VW Polo pulling into the driveway of the property – reportedly in Edenvale, Johannesburg – with one of the criminals moving quickly to disarm an electric gate.
The car then enters the property while four robbers immediately get to work on gaining access to the house as the driver manoeuvres the vehicle for a quick getaway.
The footage shows the criminals entering the house several times, taking flat screen TVs, computer monitors and a laptop bag, before the car casually drives away, all within a five minute time frame.
