Telkom Mobile intros new data, LTE offerings
Telkom Mobile today (19 April 2013) unveiled a new range of data offerings, which the company said is “aimed at slashing prices to offer the best in-bundle rates in the market”.
The new SmartInternet and SmartInternet Saver post-paid data plans will be available from 21 April 2013.
Consumers can opt for a bundled offer that includes a device, or for a SIM only option which can be used with their own device.
The plans come with an allocation of Telkom Mobile data, Telkom Mobile Night-Surfer data, LTE speeds in LTE coverage areas and access to free Wi-Fi at Telkom Mobile hot spots around the country.

“We have also extended our successful data promotions. The pre-paid promotions have proved popular with those who want great control over their data use,” said Vitai. These include the 60GB + 60GB, 10GB + 10GB (post-paid) and 2GB + 1 GB data bundles.
“Telkom Mobile will bring more new and different data products to the market over the next few weeks. We’re especially looking forward to offering products based on LTE and Wi-Fi technologies in an innovative way that solves real needs of customers,” said Vitai.
