Telkom Business Mobile launches 79c voice call plan
Telkom Business Mobile has launched a new flat-rated top-up plan, Smart One-Rate TopUp.
“Customers pay a nominal rate of R49 per month to benefit from a flat rate of 79c for voice calls, 21c per SMS and 15c/MB on Smart One-Rate TopUp,” Megan Nicholas, managing executive for mobile solutions at Telkom Business was quoted as saying.
“These flat rates apply no matter the time of day or the network,” Nicholas said.
Smart One-Rate lets the end user specify a monthly recurring airtime value, Telkom said, which means that the customer chooses how much they want to spend on a monthly basis.
When this is exceeded, they then have the option of “topping up” with more airtime.
The Telkom Business website lists the details of the new price plan as follows:
- One rate for all voice calls – R0.79/min
- One rate for data usage – R0.15/MB
- One rate for sending SMS – R0.21/SMS
- Free Wi-Fi at Telkom Mobile hotspots (10GB Fair Usage Policy applies)
- International Calls from R0,79/min (selected destinations)
