Nettleton Road in Clifton, Cape Town is the most expensive road in Africa, and a property on this road can come with a rental cost of R150,000 or more – for a day.

For instance, as listed by Hamiltons Property Portfolio, a six-bedroom house on Nettleton Road is on the market for R150,000 per day.

The property – known as the Pentagon – has views of Clifton’s four famous beaches and the Atlantic Ocean.

The house is spread over five levels and has a private glass elevator. The property’s garage can also house four large cars – or potentially a boat.

It also features two lounge areas, a private fully equipped gym, a 10-seater home cinema, fully automated curtains & blinds, an automated lighting system, two self-contained staff quarters, a state-of-the-art security system with CCTV surveillance & integrated air-conditioning and heating.

The top floor also comes with an entertainment area which leads onto a mountain garden and large terrace.
