Huge Telecom appoints new MD

Huge has announced the appointment of Robert Burger as the managing director of Huge Telecom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Huge Group, with effect from 23 January 2019.
Burger had been appointed as acting managing director, following the resignation in November, of Gunter Engling. Previously, Burger held the position of financial director of Huge Telecom.
He is a chartered accountant and a top level commercial and financial executive with 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, which he gained while working for Vodacom.
“Significant experience was gained while at Vodacom, where he held various senior roles in credit, commercial, finance and sales at Vodacom Business,” Huge said.
