Blue Label Telecoms has appointed Rob Fleming as its new chief marketing officer.

Fleming will be responsible for developing and managing corporate and business marketing strategies for the Blue Label group, with a focus on product, services and brand management.

His responsibilities also include expanding Blue Label’s market presence and driving product innovation, Blue Label said.

Previously, Fleming worked in marketing for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, Unilever, after which he joined SAB Miller.

At SAB, he was responsible for managing some of its brands before taking over the company’s sponsorship portfolio – initially in South Africa and later globally.

“We are delighted that Rob is joining our growing business at Blue Label,” said joint CEO of Blue Label, Mark Levy.

“His experience gained in an enviable track record and his strategic leadership in marketing will lend new energy to our numerous product and service brands.”
