Watch: Crafty thief steals handbag from Pretoria restaurant

New footage has emerged showing how daring and brazen thieves can be in South Africa, especially with the festive period upon us.

The grainy CCTV footage, allegedly taken from a camera at Crawdaddys in Brooklyn, Pretoria, shows two accomplices entering the property and targeting their victim.

The thieves take a table behind the victim, who has her handbag strung over the back of her chair, out of sight.

One of the thieves then casually helps herself to the handbag, without anyone noticing, before waling out the restaurant.

The footage was taken from December 1st, 2015.
