JSE chief financial officer steps down

The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) on Wednesday announced the resignation of its director and CFO‚ Freda Evans‚ with effect from the end of the month.
“For some time‚ we have been discussing Evans’ desire to go and do some things outside the JSE and we have agreed that now would be an appropriate time for her to leave the JSE‚” it said in the announcement.
Evans joined the JSE in 2000 as CFO and has been a Director since 2008.
“The appointment of a new chief financial officer will be considered by the board in due course‚” the JSE said.
