DStv and MWEB free ADSL promotion
MWEB and DStv have launched a promotion through which existing DStv subscribers who become new MWEB ADSL customers will get the first three months free when signing up for any MWEB 6-month ADSL contract.
“That’s a 50% discount on the MWEB ADSL package of your choice, including MWEB’s Uncapped ADSL offerings,” DStv said in a promotional e-mail.
This promotion follows Telkom’s 3 month free uncapped Internet trial which offers subscribers “Fast internet (DSL access up to 1 024 kbps), Uncapped Telkom Internet 1Mbps, Free line and ADSL installation and a free modem without any contractual commitments”.
Telkom has been on a strong drive to boost their broadband subscriber numbers, and is clearly taking aim at MWEB with the recent launch of their first uncapped ADSL products.
Telkom’s ‘free uncapped Internet’ and MWEB and DStv’s 3-month promotions end on 31 January 2012.
