Cape Town and Durban King Shaka International Airports were both recognised at the Skytrax World Airport Awards.

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) said that the awards are considered a quality benchmark for the world’s airport industry.

Passengers vote for airports in a survey that assesses customer service and facilities across over 500 airports globally, with over 100 nationalities participating in the survey.

Cape Town International Airport won the Best Airport in Africa and the Best Airport Staff in Africa awards. This is Cape Town’s eighth consecutive win for Best Airport and third consecutive win for Best Airport staff.
