Eskom Monday load shedding update

There are no scheduled power outages for Monday, Eskom said.

Spokesman Khulu Phasiwe said Eskom expected the power grid to remain “moderate” throughout the day.

“If we lose any of our generators however, we may be forced to implement load shedding,” he said.

There was a medium to high risk of this happening.

Phasiwe urged the public to use electricity sparingly and keep non-essential appliances and lights off.
