Ex Sentech CEO joins SITA

The board at signal distributor for the South African broadcasting sector, Sentech, have accepted the resignation of CEO, Dr Setumo Mohapi.
The board held a special meeting on Monday, 30 March 2015 and comes after his official appointment as the CEO of the State IT Agency (SITA) effective 1st April 2015.
The board at Sentech moved to assure all stakeholders that plans are in place to ensure a smooth transition into a new era of leadership at the state owned entity.
Rudzani Rasikhinya, the chief financial officer of Sentech, has been appointed as the acting CEO.
“With the departure of Dr Setumo Mohapi, the Acting CEO enjoys the full support of the board, management and staff,” Sentech said.
