Takealot announces 2025 Blue Dot Sale dates and deals
Takealot has announced that its Blue Dot Sale Countdown deals for 2025 will run from 3 to 23 November, and the Blue Dot Sale will run from 25 November to 1 December.
The countdown deals will offer up to 60% off across various categories, and will be staggered across different periods as follows:
- 3 – 23 November – Large and small appliances, TVs, and tech.
- 3 – 23 November – ALOT for Less (bulk buys for pantry staples, cleaning supplies, health
- essentials, and everyday goods).
- 3 – 9 November – Furniture, patio, sport, and camping equipment.
- 10 – 16 November – Books, toys, beauty, homeware, and office supplies.
- 17 – 23 November – Pets, baby, health, personal care, and liquor.
Then, starting from 25 November, the full Blue Dot Sale will run through to Cyber Monday on 1 December.
During this period, Takealot said customers will be able to enjoy up to 60% off thousands of deals across a wide range of categories, and there will be “surprise deals” added throughout the sale.
“Since pioneering Black Friday in South Africa in 2012, Takealot’s Blue Dot Sale has become a
landmark event in the country’s retail calendar,” said Karla Levick, Chief Marketing Officer at Takealot.
“Year-on-year, it continues to break records, and this year promises to be no different.”
