United Arab Emirates airlines, Etihad Airways has unveiled a new seating addition to its A380 planes – dubbed “The Residence”.<\/p>\n

The new ‘seats’ are luxury living spaces on flights, and will set you back at least R260,000 ($20,000) to book.<\/p>\n

The space is described as “a step above first class” and was created in partnership with charter specialist Chapman Freeborn.<\/p>\n

Each “residence” covers 125 square feet (11.5 square metres) and offers a small lounge, and en-suite bathroom and a double bed to sleep on.<\/p>\n

Adding to the luxury package, each room has its own butler to serve passengers.<\/p>\n

There is also a concierge team, which offers a range of services including dining reservations, entertainment bookings, special events, destination information and lifestyle services.<\/p>\n
