South African motorists are in for some relief in November, according to forecasts\u00a0 from Solidarity Research.<\/p>\n
Paul Joubert, senior researcher at Solidarity, said that he expects the price of petrol to decrease about 20 cents, with diesel seen about 10 cents cheaper.<\/p>\n
It comes on the back of a slight decrease by 2\u00a0cents<\/strong> per litre for 93 EPU\/LRP petrol, and an increase of 4\u00a0cents <\/strong>for 95 EPU\/LRP petrol in October.<\/p>\n Diesel however, increased by as much as 53<\/strong>\u00a0cents<\/strong> and 51<\/strong>\u00a0cents<\/strong> per litre for 0.05% and 0.005% sulphur, respectively.<\/p>\n Joubert pointed to the fairly significant strengthening of the rand in recent sessions, which if continued up to the end of October, is likely to transfer to cheaper petrol prices.<\/p>\n These figures are, of course, subject to revision, the researcher said.<\/p>\n Petrol price set for slight increase in November<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Official petrol prices for October 2015<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nMore on the petrol price<\/h3>\n
