it does not feature on the list below.<\/p>\n<p>BusinessTech looks at the slowest popular cars in South Africa &#8211; namely among those vehicles with the best sales figures, and cheapest cars in the country.<\/p>\n<p>We simply looked at how long the car takes to get from 0 &#8211; 100 km\/h, in no particular order.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ford Figo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ford Figo is often among the top 20 best sold vehicles in the country each month, mostly due to its affordability, brand strength, and resale value.<\/p>\n<p>It slowest version: Ford Figo 1.4 TDCi Ambiente has the the following stats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0 &#8211; 100 km\/h in 15.8 seconds<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Top speed 163 km\/h<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_70797\" style=\"width: 610px\" 20 best seller in the country, the Clio appears to have broken through the psyche that french cars are unreliable.<\/p>\n<p>The Renault Clio 1.2 16v has the the following stats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0-100 km\/h in 15.4 seconds<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Top Speed 167 km\/h<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And this despite\u00a0 a maximum power (kW) of 55 at 5,500 selling, but the cheapest.<\/p>\n<p>It has only one engine option which is a 1.0-litre unit delivering 50kW with a torque peak of 90Nm.<\/p>\n<p>It has the the following stats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0-100 km\/h anywhere between 14 seconds and three weeks (Top Car has it at 17.2 sec).<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Top Speed the 100 kph mark at an impressive 10.6 seconds, however, the 1.4 63kW Trendline Tiptronic is much, much slower off the mark.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0-100 km\/h in approximately 17.5 seconds<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Top Speed 174km\/h<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Toyota Quantum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Toyota Quantum is a staple for taxis bosses in South Africa, and while you may see many flying past you on the road everyday, its unlikely to be the 2.5 D-4D 14-seater bus.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0-100 km\/h in approximately 28.2 seconds<br
