Businesses can now go directly to SEACOM and its business partners for high-speed, fibre-based services, with options ranging from 25Mbps up to 1Gbps.<\/p>\n
SEACOM has entered the enterprise market, promising best-in-class connectivity and Cloud services that bring business customers lightning\u2013fast bandwidth at highly competitive prices.<\/p>\n
It aims to shake up the enterprise connectivity space by offering businesses high-speed connectivity and quality bandwidth at an affordable price.<\/p>\n
SEACOM\u2019s Business division is already signing up more than 20 corporate and SME customers a month, since a soft launch of its enterprise offering a year ago.<\/p>\n
It has also appointed more than 20 business partners to support its drive into the new market.<\/p>\n
Its fibre Internet access services have been available since January 2015, and have received positive feedback from the marketplace.<\/p>\n
Last-mile fibre is a major focus for SEACOM in the corporate market, and the company aims to bring standard fibre to corporate customers in Kenya and South Africa initially.<\/p>\n
It has already launched 20 fibre precincts in South Africa and plans to roll out another 40 by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
\u201cSEACOM started out as a wholesale provider of international bandwidth, but the time is right for us to diversify our business into the enterprise market,\u201d says Grant Parker, Head of SEACOM Business.<\/p>\n
