WirelessG said that the G-Connect in-flight vouchers are likely to cost between R50 and R100 each.

The service will become available on Mango flights first, with plans to cover other airlines in future.

WirelessG is using technology from Row 44 to deliver broadband access on South African aircraft. The technology makes use of satellite-based connectivity for back-haul purposes with speeds of up to 4Mbps.

WirelessG has partnered with Vodacom who will provide the needed satellite services to provide in-flight connectivity.

WirelessG in-flight Wi-Fi

Related articles

In-flight Wi-Fi pricing and launch dates

In-flight Wi-Fi in SA a step closer

Businessmen and women can expect to start using in-flight Wi-Fi on South African flights as soon as next month

[9882
2474,26,2475,2476,2477
post-10449","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-internet","tag-g-connect","tag-headline","tag-in-flight-wi-fi","tag-mango","tag-wirelessg
["GET
