MTN is facing yet another fine – this time in Uganda, after being found to have engaged in unlawful and uncompetitive behaviour in the country.<\/p>\n
MTN and Ugandan group, EezeeMoney were business partners in the country, until MTN pulled out of the partnership in 2013, saying that EzeeMoney was a direct competitor to its business.<\/p>\n
EzeeMoney went to court, saying MTN\u2019s action \u201crestricted and distorted competition\u201d – a fight which it won.<\/p>\n
