A new survey, published by research firm Afrobarometer, finds that the majority of South Africans do not want president Jacob Zuma to run for a third term.<\/p>\n
The results of the survey, published in the Sunday Times, show that around six out of 10 people believe that Zuma often ignores the country’s courts and laws.<\/p>\n
The full results of the survey are set to be released next week by the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation.<\/p>\n
Of 2,400 respondents to the survey, 78% feel that South Africa’s presidential term should be limited to two terms.<\/p>\n
A survey conducted by the same firm in June noted that as few as 68% of respondents were in favour of term limits for presidents.<\/p>\n
