{"id":105807,"date":"2015-12-05T15:00:06","date_gmt":"2015-12-05T13:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=105807"},"modified":"2015-12-04T16:30:50","modified_gmt":"2015-12-04T14:30:50","slug":"south-africa-has-some-of-the-happiest-workers-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/105807\/south-africa-has-some-of-the-happiest-workers-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"South Africa has some of the happiest workers in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa has the 5th happiest professional workforce in the world, according to a new study by Universum.<\/p>\n<p>The study us the biggest and first of its kind, according to Universum, surveying more than 250,000 professionals in 55 markets across the world.<\/p>\n<p>The index is based on employee satisfaction in their current job, the likelihood of recommending their current employer, and their states sense of job loyalty.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Essentially, the index offers a country-by-country barometer of the workplace health of that market\u2019s talent pool and an excellent benchmark by which individual employers can map their own employees\u2019 sense of satisfaction and loyalty,&#8221; Universum said.<\/p>\n<p>South Africa&#8217;s professional workforce is described as fulfilled, meaning that employees are satisfied and feel positive about the companies that they work for.
