The income from Gauteng’s tolls will mainly be spent again on collecting toll money in the next two years, according to a report on Monday.<\/p>\n
This emerged in a reply by Transport Minister S’bu Ndebele<\/a> in the National Council of Provinces following a question from the Democratic Alliance<\/a>, reported The Star newspaper.<\/p>\n More than 70 percent of the Gauteng toll income will be used over the next two years to collect toll fees.<\/p>\n Ndebele said the Gauteng tolls should bring in R3.513 billion in 2012 and 2014.
