Vodafone is the majority shareholder of Vodacom.

The ASA ruled that Vodacom’s 4G claim is unsubstantiated, and that it should withdraw its advertising using the term with immediate effect.

More on Vodacom

Beware these MTN, Vodacom billing scams

New Vodacom-Neotel merger deal moves ahead

Vodacom drops spectrum from Neotel buyout deal

PIC ups stake in Vodacom

The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) has ruled that Vodacom should remove its 4G claim from its marketing material.

[34
2278,2170,26,27
post-107773","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mobile","tag-4g","tag-asa","tag-headline","tag-vodacom
["GET
