{"id":119245,"date":"2016-04-06T13:42:50","date_gmt":"2016-04-06T11:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=119245"},"modified":"2016-04-06T13:48:47","modified_gmt":"2016-04-06T11:48:47","slug":"another-major-sa-bank-closes-its-doors-to-gupta-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/finance\/119245\/another-major-sa-bank-closes-its-doors-to-gupta-company\/","title":{"rendered":"Another major SA bank closes its doors to Gupta company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First National Bank is the latest company to close its accounts with Gupta-owned\u00a0 investment company, Oakbay, amid a scandal over its relationship with president Jacob Zuma, and allegations of an attempted state capture by the Indian family.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oakbay has received no reason whatsoever justifying FNB&#8217;s actions. We are already in the process of moving our accounts to a more enlightened institution,&#8221; Oakbay said in a statement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>FNB joins Absa, Sasfin Capital and auditing firm, KPMG, in cutting ties with the Gupta\u2019s listed company, Oakbay Resources &amp;
