This meant that if 500,000 customers requested a refund at R50 an e-tag, Sanral would pay out R25 million.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists were urged to apply for the refunds.<\/p>\n<p>According to the agency&#8217;s terms and conditions it could take up to two months before the customer was refunded, <a title=\"Cliff Johnston\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/2674-Cliff-Johnston\">Cliff Johnston<\/a> from the <a title=\"SANCU - South African National Consumer Union\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/2673-SANCU-South-African-National-Consumer-Union\">SA National Consumer Union<\/a> told the newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>That was why it was imperative that e-tag holders applied for a refund as soon as possible.
