{"id":123729,"date":"2016-05-16T13:00:35","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T11:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=123729"},"modified":"2016-05-16T13:00:35","modified_gmt":"2016-05-16T11:00:35","slug":"anc-gauteng-wants-e-toll-rethink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/lifestyle\/123729\/anc-gauteng-wants-e-toll-rethink\/","title":{"rendered":"ANC Gauteng wants e-toll rethink"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Gauteng branch of the ruling party, the ANC, has reiterated its call for a rethink on e-tolls.<\/p>\n<p>The call came days after Transport Minister Dipuo Peters said that the largely rejected system is here to stay despite government&#8217;s understanding and appreciation of\u00a0 the financial challenges some motorists face.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernment has already created space for public transport operators not to pay e-toll and concessions have been given to deserving cases.
